NASA is Testing a New Type of Alternative Fuel

In the last month at NASA were tested new discovered synthetic fuels derivatives of coal and natural gas, produced by the FischerTropsch process.This process have attracted researchers' attention because it could be one of the solutions for powering commercial aircraft.
When a synthesis gas ( mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen) change their chemical composition resulting a liquid hydrocarbon (different forms), the process can be called Fischer-Tropsch.This process create synthetic oil that can be used as fuel or lubricant in various activities.
This process is known for several years but could not enforce because high costs that they require such a process.Today researchers can use this fuel but before that must be very carefully tested.In the United States these plants that is actually the chemical substances used in the process was not found and technology could be sent to other countries where all substances will be found.
NASA make these tests on a plane to demonstrate the fuel quality.Researchers made public this experiment and get to know which is the best fuel formula that could help engines by burning to produce more power and how to reduce polluting gases.If these experiment prove that this fuel is ecological than other, if pollute less,could reach all airports from all world.
Researchers say that NASA is still in the beginning in this field of biofuels but hoped that in a few years regular fuel can be replaced with this one for less polluting gas emissions and other reason that is important too is economy to exhaustible fuel reserves...
