The UK Government proposed the introduction in 2011, a state aid of up to 5,000 pounds (about 5500 euros) for the purchase of electric vehicles, announced the press London. The initiative, presented today, is part of a plan for five years (with a budget of about 230 million pounds), which aims to reduce the level of pollutants that are responsible automotive sector. To receive discount, the customer will not be forced to give up an older car, as the "piece".
Target program registration number is 50,000 electric cars, which will be powered by connecting to the outlet. A national network points to recharge the batteries to be created by 2011. Also by then, it is hoped, cars 100% (or 100%) power will become as common as those whose engines operate on hydrocarbons.
