Maximum Capacity for the Largest Solar Center in the World

Somewhere in southern Portugal to Amareleja there is "the largest solar center in the world".This solar central begin to work at maximum capacity, fact that was announced by the Director. This solar central can power 30,000 homes. "From 23 December 2008 Central functions at maximum capacity, "says Francisco Aleixo.
The reason for maximum capacity work is because since March 2008 the central produce not enought energy. With the power of 46 mw central installation, will produce 93 million kw/year.Than emissions of pollutant gasses could decline by 89 tonnes per year.Solar central contain 262,080 solar panels and the construction required 261 million Euro.Panels are installed on 2650 solar modules occupying an area of 250 hectare.
80% of solar centrals in portugal are in the region Alentejo. Here is our central and belongs to "Amper Central Solar".
