Solar Powered "Saylor Sky" Plane Could get on Mars
Saylor Sky is an airplane which is powered with solar energy and researchers say that it could get to Mars or other unexplored planets.Small dimenssions make this plane to not be used on people transport. On side wings are installed solar cells , solar panels that can keep it on air for a long period of time without any electric energy source. This experiment was made by the Swiss researchers who could see how the plane was kept in air alone about 26 hours at a height of 700 meters. This small plane could be used in many areas such as espionage or defend a target(with some video cameras attached to it). With the passage of time, if solar panels could become more powerful, could be the problem using the same technologies for planes that transport people or other things.Nowadays solar panels energy storage capacity is limited but does not preclude a fast evolution and then we can apply them to obtain much higher performance in all areas of acivity.
